Why is Standard delivery time is 2 - 3 weeks?
All orders are hand-made upon receipt of order - other than a few seasonal items NO Merchandise is stocked (well sometimes we do have a limited numbers of seasonal items)! That is why we are Custom Chocolate Candy!

Can I choose the type of chocolate for my order?
Yes. Most items are available in milk, dark or white chocolate or colored. If not specified we will use the chocolate type most common for that mold. To specify a chocolate type simply let us know when you call us.

What is a Candy Box?
These boxes are made of milk, white, dark, or custom colored chocolate, both the base and lid are edible! The box shapes and sizes vary. The lids have detailed and fanciful designs. Each box is filled with seasonal chocolates and non-pareils, then stretched wrapped. Fancy half-dipped cashews may be substituted for and additional charge. To specify a chocolate type or half-dipped cashews simply note your "special instructions" in the space provided during checkout. You can call us too!

For large orders (greater than 25 pieces) please allow and extra week for delivery.

Why do larger orders over 25 pieces require longer delivery time?
Large orders are usually for resellers, and we will work on deliveries to meet their needs. These large orders can prevent us from delivering smaller orders on time do to our limits of production.

What is a Warm Weather Shipment?
When temperatures reach over 70° F, the temperatures in trucks and storage facilities used in the shipping process can become high enough to soften or melt chocolate. So these shipments require ice packs and overnight shipping. Orders taken requiring warm weather shipping, and which can be shipped within our standard shipping rates will be charged $1.50 additional per $50 of merchandise. If shipping costs are not within our standard shipping rates these orders will be finalized by phone prior to order finalization.

In Pennsylvania food is not taxed, Why is there tax on my PA order?
All orders are gift wrapped, Pennsylvania residents will be charged tax on these food products because of the gift wrapping.

Here at Custom Chocolate Candy it is our goal to provide quality products and customer satisfaction. If an issue of customer satisfaction does arise, we are committed to making all reasonable efforts to resolve the issue.

Shipping Locations

Orders are only accepted for shipment with in the Continental United States of America. We will consider shipping to the outside of the Continental United States of America on a case by case basis, and reserve the right to refuse any order based on shipping location.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are quoted at the time of your order. And vary depending on size of order, location and time of year.

Additional charges apply for warm weather shipping as orders must be cold packed and expedited shipping is required.

Order Acceptance

From time to time availability of an advertised product may change, due to various reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain the accuracy of available products on this site and reserve the right to refuse an order based on product availability. If a product availability issue does arise, you will be contacted usually within 2 business days of the issue, with the right to cancel your order.

We reserve the right to refuse orders where we can not meet delivery requirements, volume requirements or in our opinion can not be delivered without damage.

Conflict Resolution

By placing an order with Custom Chocolate Candy (aka English Cottage Candies) , the customer agrees this Agreement shall be governed in all respects by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without regard to its conflict of laws provisions, and the Customer (purchaser of products from this website) and the seller (Custom Chocolate Candy) agree that the sole venue and jurisdiction for disputes arising from this Agreement shall be the appropriate state or federal court with jurisdiction over Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, the registered office of Custom Chocolate Candy, and the Customer and seller hereby submit to the jurisdiction of such courts.
